I used to get into Wooloolga Flora Reserve regularly into the early 80's
to early 90's. It is a great place. Pigeons were quite easy to see with
Wompoo Pigeons regular there. Noisy Pittas nests were found on several
occasions and Pale Yellow Robins were easy to find. In general most
rainforest species you would expect in that area were present.
Of interest were sightings of Barred (Yellow-eyed) Cuckoo-shrikes
occasionally and a sighting of White-eared Monarch (generally accepted as
ranging south to Iluka, some 80 km further north).
