Hello to all Birding-Aus subscribers,

This is my first posting to your group, please forgive any mistakes I may make!

My name is Chris Monk and I work for English Nature at its headquarters in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

I'm not at work at present, but when I am, I work on the reintroduction of the Red Kite to the English Midlands as part of my job.

I'd be interested in any information on kite species in Australia in particular and raptors in general. Are there any conservation projects in existence that involve raptors?

                           Best wishes,
                                          Chris Monk
