G'day All,
I'm catching up on a huge backlog of emails and making
up some bird strike photo email attachments. When I
looked up, out of the windows, to notice I have this
unusual flowering tree outside? it's suddenly burst
into a pink and grey colour, only a few minutes after
the heavy rain started here ..... strange I thought
that Pete? So I was just wondering what it could be?
then I put on my bifocal yokels and realised it's the
same olde gum tree? but with about 100 Galah's hanging
upside down from it having their annual soap on the
rope shower, gee they do carry on worse then me I
think :-] when having a shower, so much singing in the
rain ~:^D>>>>> gorgeous formally dressed feathered
people that they are.
Now could I ask the learned people on this list what
is the system for safeguarding a ramsar site from
encroachment by a proposed development that abutts the
ramsar site? without any doubt if the development goes
ahead? as planned? it WILL have a significant effect
upon the ramsar site? a pleasant ask at present?
I have been told of a sighting of some close to human
homes Eastern Spinebill's and some Black headed
butcherbirds? isn't this just a tad unusual? or is the
butcherbirds planning ahead for food?
JAG der Whag wanders off singing .....
The weatherman,
On Ozbeeb, did say,
Not much chance,
Of rain my way,
So why's it raining,
Raining on my hearts,
Oh Eggy oh my Eggy,
Look what their just singing,
to me he he he,
I tell myself,
They bathe this way,
I wish them all,
To have a good day,
As it's raining,
Raining on my hearts.
Sorry Norman Petty and Buddy Holly
