I have been intrigued to hear a Fan-tailed Cuckoo calling at Dawn
lately, just before sunrise. It started me wondering if it was still trying
to attract a mate.
They occasionally over winter here in the Dandenongs. All other species have finished breeding here . _________________________________________________________________Join the world?s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
