g'day all, 1 The Qld Government issued a media statement advising in part .. "Researchers now believe that the entire Asian population of roseate terns, apart from first-year birds, flies to the Swain Reefs, 250km north-east of Rockhampton, for their annual migration." "Almost 25,000 birds were counted" "19 of these birds carried Japanese leg bands and another had been banded in Taiwan.
