G'day all,
I've been reading with interest all the emails about
state birds and national flora and flora emblems.
I think it's terrific the interest being shown on this
subject, it should spur-wing on more interest in our
much loved birds. BUT!!!! do we have a national
seabird emblem, if so? what is it? and is there, for
the states that are not landlocked, sorry landlubber
Philip A. Veerman :^D a state seabird for each state?
Two local yachtie friends tell me that early this am
whilst sailing back into Hastings they saw the largest
pod of dolphins they have ever seen in Western Port
... they counted what they believed to be 60 in the
one area alone, close to the Hastings Marina.
Kind regards,
John A. Gamblin
