Subject: Victoria's Box-Ironbark - Govt response Feb 2002
For those interested, the Victorian Government's response to the recommendations
of the Environment Conservation Council Box-Ironbark Report is now available via
the following web site.
As you may have heard in yesterdays media, a number of new National (and other)
Parks have been recommended. The box-ironbark areas of Victoria hold much of
Victoria's woodland bird speces.
Details for access are:
http://www.nre.vic.gov.au
then 'What's new' (new additions to this site)
then 'Victoria's Box-Ironbark woodlands'
cheers
