Did anyone hear Minister Cheryl Garbutt this morning on radio talking about "netting & gassing" Corellas in country VIc somewhere (didn't catch the name of the town). It seems the locals are a smite tired of the 'swarming' cockies and have a request to begin blasting them out of the sky. According to Ms Garbutt, netting & gassing "some" of the Corellas thins down their numbers significantly so as to prevent huge flocks from forming. I'm interested to hear other commentary on this and any effect on Corella populations in Victoria, Thanks, Greg Oakley ...............................................Creative Director |
