Hi All.
Going to try for the Kentish Plover at Old Bar this Weekend. Can
anyone give me an apoproximate time for high tide SAt and/or Sun. at Old Bar?
     Thanks in advance,

 Hi Netters,
Reg Clark and myself were there yesterday 20/2. Our tide chart said
high tide would be 3pm. We checked the four mounds of gravel/rocks from
12:30pm to 2:30pm. Saw all the other birds. We thought when the tide came
in it would cover the rocks and so move the birds towards us. At 2:30pm the
bird stood up from behind a rock, raising it's wings for excellent views. At
3pm the tide only came up to the rocks on the sea/side and then went out
again. The bird was in the left hand of the four mounds with the orange mug
on the fence behind us. Being windy all the birds were low to the ground and
not moving.
Bear in mind, when we were there, two 4WD and a motorbike were
driving along the beach with one vehicle stopping to let out his dog to run
around 50 metres south of the area as we arrived. Thankfully they all left
as we arrived at the mounds.

All the Best
