A school class in Warwick (Qld) is about to be introduced to the use of field guides for birds. (An enlightened school, yes?) It seems to me that a good starting point would be to have a list of species, especially the common ones, for the immediate surrounds of Warwick. If anyone can supply such a list (direct to me, I suggest), I'd be most grateful, and I'll see that it's put to good use.
