Dear all, Congratulations!
Last week's effort to stop the undermining of the new hunting legislation in
Greenland was a great success. Impressed by more than 100 letters from most
of Europe and North America, and by a brand new report from the Institute of
Natural Ressources in Greenland showing a 80% reduction in breeding eiders
in West Greenland, the responsible minister Edward Geisler refused the
proposal to open up for hunting at Brünnick's Guillemot and Eiders after 15
February.
Thank you very much to all of you.
Please find below, an announcement of the English version of A Farewell to
Greenland's Wildlife, a chocking book on mismanagement of living ressources.
Take a look at this website: www.greenland-wildlife.com
Best regards,
Knud Flensted
