Sounds sensible to me.
When I watched the original item on the ABC I though:
"Why would eucaplytus trees die because their leaves are being eaten?
They are remarkably good at recovering from losing all their leaves in a
bush-fire."
There are some gum trees in my backyard that were cut down to waist
height. They are covering with a vengeance.
