Oops! Further to my earlier message about our
trip South of Hattah-Kulkyne NP, I checked my tape and local maps. I did the
first message from memory! (silly old bugger!)
There is a water channel, I presume an irrigation
channel from the Murray, about 2 kms South of where we were today. I
expect some of the birds we observed in the area would use this
source.

Red-capped Robin
White-browed Babbler
Black-faced Woodswallow
Yellow-plumed Honeyeater
