I had an enjoyable stay at the Scotia Sanctuary, the only person using the great facilities. I think that there were 2 teams of 3 or 4 people running the captive breeding of small mammals like Bilbies and the subsequent gradual release from pens to very protected to not so protected areas. This sanctuary backs on to the Biosphere group that includes Gluepot. Although probably over manned compared to Gluepot and Calperum and the fences and gate systems were massive, it was a great experience and showed what can be done if foxes and cats can be eliminated/controlled. Would be great if Kerry P could spend his money and apply his business sense to the venture.
