Kikkawa J. and Pearse L. 1969, "Geographical distribution of land birds
in Australia - a numerical analysis", Australian Journal of Zoology,
17: 821-840

I met Jiro Kikkawa at UQ a few years ago, he'd retired but still
had an association with UQ - so you might be able to reach him
