I had the one and only NON-bragging Sow Fozzie phone
me last night, doing his best to run a quiz on guess
what we have just had here in Sowf Ozzie? the descript
he gave me at first was this:
Blackbird with red eyes? hmmmm I thought? perhaps he
had started to sober up after New Years Eve? first
mirror reflection this year? always painful?
Nope he says? he's got fevvers?
I respond: You sure about my first answer?
Naahhh he says about a foot in length?
Hmmm I detect a serious Tone in Neddy's C. Loons
voice?
more thunking by me?
He cuts me short to burst out with "Common Koel" I
burst out laughing and say glad you got your bottle of
bourbon in a nestbox pressie at long last? eh!
Nope he says, he's not laughing .......
Hmmmmm he's serious I think? then tells me the tale of
what now has been the sighting by many well know Sowf
Oziie birdo's and officiado's of a lonely "Common
Koel" ...... much thought by me after we hang up?
If ever there was a bird that must be adopted as the
CFA Australasian mascot this is it? this little fella,
must have heard and adhered to those words of the Oz
CFA so well he's cleared out the area just a tad to
far eh? :^D
WOW!!!!!!!!! Well done Tones and all concerned over
there? hmmmmmm perhaps when you do get your dusty olde
Kentucky bottle you might share it about with all that
helped with this one? makes you think and realise just
how clever some of our "feathered friends" really are
eh? next we might start thinking they can think and
act on thoughts eh? oh no don't start that debate you
haven't abswered the great "Cere Hugo" as yet.
