There is a certain irony that the NSW Rural Fire Service's long gestated
revised Bushfire Protection Guidelines appeared on the RFS website
yesterday.  The guidelines apply to town planners, developers and
property owners etc [ie everyone living in fire prone areas].

The guidelines are accessible at
