Meanwhile, the National Registration Authority is reviewing the use of 1080.
It is entirely possible that we could lose our only effective means of
controlling foxes.  Anyone can make a submission to the review.
Conservationist should consider the impacts of restricting or banning 1080,
and make their voices heard.

G.day All,
Our pair of Painted Snipes are still in the area and thanks to Bob
Goodfellow the local council have already started a fox baiting program in
the area . Foxes are a big problem in this area, killing many tortises and
their eggs, so it just took the discovery of some special birds to have some
action taken.
