Following up on John Walters' recent observation about reports of Paradise Parrots, I can confirm that there are resident populations of Bluebonnets to be found to the east of Dalby, Queensland. Like John, I regularly get invited to follow up reported Paradise Parrot sightings and, like John, I have no doubt that at least to the south and west of Toowoomba Bluebonnets are often responsible - or possibly a combination of almost any small parrot and "What Bird is That?".
