Hah! I finally got the Kaurna Painted Snipe! Beautiful in bright sunlight at approx 20 m distance filling up the scope view! Interesting that there is an article in the new Wingspan about the species, especially its reduced number of sightings - not this year I'd say. Does anyone know if this one is going to be a real split as the article suggests? (Tony what's that about the expert???? I virtually had to drag those Freckleds to you a few months ago!)
