I have just returned from Cape York with Oz Tours and guide John Young and several members of the Gold Coast Birdwatchers and had some notable sightings which included:-  Golden-shouldered Parrots,Yellow-billed Kingfisher(nesting), Large-tailed Nightjar, Rufous Owl, Chestnut-breasted Cuckoo, Eclectus Parrot(nesting) , Grey Goshawk(nesting), Broad-billed Flycatcher, Magnificent Riflebird (displaying),but the most notable for me was the Red Goshawk nesting with young. We also saw many more endemic species. Scott did the male Red Goshawk come back to nest site after I left?
