Spent  a great morning in the company of many others viewing the Painted
Snipe.  I have been very amused by all the directions to find the bird.  It
certainly is a grotty water hole, the directions were quite foolproof.
Thanks to all who have assisted me in this venture, and thanks to
'birding-aus' too.
