There have been records of Corellas hybridising with Sulphur-crested,
Major Mitchells, Galahs and Gang Gangs. A couple of years ago I saw a
flock of about 50 Short-bill and 10 Long-bills in the Deception Bay area
(SE Qld) with 2 members of the flock being very obvious hybrids between
a Short-bill and a Galah. Interestingly the 2 hybrids always perched
side-by-side, a little distance away from the main flock.
