SYDNEY NSW Pelagic Trip Report - 11th November 2001

Once again a very pleasant trip - very calm seas - but bird numbers were down on previous years.  Just the one stage 4 'Wandering' type albatross.  Most likely gibsoni. Common Dolphin's put in quite a performance and it was good to see significant numbers of Great-winged Petrel out beyond the shelf.  The hyperlinks represent birds photographed on this trip.

Water temperature was 20.9deg on the shelf.
Swell less than a Metre.
Reached 26NM east of Sydney Heads.
Departed at 07.10 and returned at 15.15.
