Dear All, Myself, Sheena Gilmour and Ros Laundon observed an Oriental Pratincole at Seven Mile Lagoon in the Lockyer Valey yesterday at about 2.30pm. The bird was roosting amongst drying mud and then flying around showing thin bent wings, vivid white rump and dark forked tail. Also observed was the bird's masked face. If you would like more details, reply direct.
