Hello Anne,
What I found interesting was that they joined in chasing away the
Magpie. Now, both the "mothers" are firmly ensconsed in their nests (I
only ever get to see their beaks) How long does it take for each of their
chicks to hatch? The wagtail nest is so far down the branches that, I'm
occasionally worried they might get harmed from another quarter: humans.
There are so many wagtails anyway that it won't matter much, but still
these are "my" Willys so that I hope nothing happens to them.
