Hi Birders,
I had a short stop to look at the large number of waterbirds roosting on the edge of the fast drying up Wamberal Lagoon near Terrigal NSW this morning and there amongst the Black-winged Stilts was an immature Banded Stilt, showing reddish coloured legs but no chestnut breast bar. This would be the 3rd record for the Central Coast, all records since 1998.

List of birds seen as follows

Grey Teal 40
Chestnut Teal 302
Hardhead 1
Great Cormorant 11
Little Black Cormorant14
Little Pied Cormorant 3
Nankeen Night Heron 1
Sharp-tailed Sandpiper 1
Black-winged Stilt 22
Banded Stilt 1
