flowering plants share a common ancestor too, after all our basic processes of
metabolism and genetics are similar. I wonder how one tests the DNA of
dinosaurs.

think that the sequencing of certain genes in
nuclear DNA has indicated
that birds are not descended directly from
dinosaurs but rather that
birds and dinosaurs share a common ancestor.
