Dear All

I have been reading Bill Oddie's books lately ( Little Black Book of
Birds and Gripping yarns) and I have just observed my first vis mig
(visible migration) as he puts it.

Yesterday will staying at my College's Outdoor Ed. centre just north of
Crows Nest ( 45 km N of Toowoomba) I observed about 60 Woodswallows,
both White-browed and Masked, in about even numbers flying overhead
around 5.30pm. It has been a while (6+ years) since I have seen both,
so a bit of a thrill for me.

Also in relation to Phillips comments about why not go to the USA to see
them, he obviuosly hasn't read Bill Oddie's books. Do yourself a
favour, when you get a moment or week, track them down and read them and
all shall be revealed.
