Hello all, some news on the Whistling-Ducks at Sale. As of this morning, 0805 to 0940 hours EST, no less than five Wandering Whistling-ducks Dendrocygna arcuata were present in the previously reported spot [visible from the carpark at end of McIntosh Rd] at Lake Guyatt, Sale, in eastern Vic. A new one for Victoria for me and not before time, having missed the last ones at Edithvale in the early 1990s, being interstate at the time. Cheerio.
