Heard my first Koel of the spring here at Nundah in surburban Brisbane today. Also one at Kipparing this morning in Bob Inglis territory.  No Dollarbirds here yet though.  The Sacred Kingfishers have been back for a couple of weeks and are very busy in our back yard.  Channel-billed Cuckoos have been around for a couple of weeks now.  Very dry here so it could cause some problems for breeding birds.

cheers
