The waders are returning to Werribee in increasing numbers. There were many 'birder' there on Saturday to see the Northern Shoveler, it was thereon the West side of Borrie North. The Freckled duck were again roosting on the concrete slab in Borrie South. Did not see any OBP on the Spit. Red-necked stints, Sharp-tailed, Curlew & Marsh Sandpipers were furiously feed on the mud flats to the east of the mouth of Little River. Hard-heads, Pink-eared, Chestnut & Grey Teal, Musk Ducks are still in big numbers on Borrie and close-by ponds. Royal Spoonbills, Intermediate Egrets were in Little River and Common Green Shanks too.
