Went for a wander in the bush with my son this morning, and when I went to have a look at a big Rock Waxflower bush in the shadow of a cliff, flushed out a male Powerful Owl. He moved on twenty yards, and then sat obligingly while we took in every detail of this impressive bird. Picked up one pellet below his roost, containing fur and small bones.
