Hi, birders, 6/9/01 We had superb views of Lewins Water Rail at McGraths Hill S.T.W., scoped it for over 10 minutes. Highlight at Governor Phillip Park at Windsor was a Grey Goshawk on a post near the river. The Banded Lapwings and young are still at Cornwallis Road. An Eastern Whipbird flew across the road, landed in the open at Sackville and an Echidna also slowly crossed nearby ! A great birding day, 95 species and great weather too.
