Hello again.

After a superb 18 day trip to Queensland & Northern Territory, with birds like Eclectus Parrot, Golden-shouldered Parrot, Golden Bowerbird, Flock Pigeon, Carpentarian, Dusky & Ballara (Kalkadoon) Grasswrens, Rufous-crowned Emuwren and White-browed Treecreeper seen, I have a question concerning the whereabouts of Michaelmas Cay.
Bruce & myself went there (no Black Noddies nor odd Boobies seen...) but I forgot to take a GPS plot.

So if anybody know the whereabout of this magnificent island (degrees, minutes & seconds if possible), I would be very happy to receive this information.

I will also make a complete trip-report of the 340 species seen (+ Cloncurry Ringneck and the Mt. Isa grasswren), if anyone should be interested.
The arrival of 4 Flock Pigeon coming in to drink shortly before dusk along the road from Karumba and Normanton was a bit of a shock to us both, and definitely a highlight of our trip.

And since I have your attention, I would like to say a warm Thank-You to the following persons:

Klaus Uhlenhut - for helpful info before we left. Nice to have ticked you off (!?) up in Iron Range....
Carol & Andrew at Kingfisher Park - night spotlighting for spiders & frogs was most thrilling.
Everyone at Lotus Bird Lodge - more helpful & friendly than anyone can expect.
Bob Forsyth - a true birdo, very helpful, and able to have Duskies hopping in front of his car to show visiting Norwegians.
Robert Read - for up-to-date info on Alice Springs.
