Hello all, Robert Inglis <>, wrote Tue, 4 Sep 2001, > Some time ago the developers encountered some criticism for promoting the > 'natural' aspect of their development techniques by using the Mallard as their > 'symbol'. The logo of the Beaudesert Shire Council, features an unmistakeable male Superb Lyrebird, standing on a 'Beaudesert Blue' pumpkin. Beaudesert Shire lies south of Brisbane and east of the Dividing Range, and abuts the NSW border. The nearest Superb Lyrebird is many kilometres away down near Stanthorpe. The Shire does have Albert's Lyrebirds.
