Ron Broomham reported that he has seen Blue-billed Ducks on a dam along Curly Dick Road at Meadow Flat for several weeks. Meadow Flat is on the Great Western Hwy about 35 kms east of Bathurst, NSW. Curly Dick Road is signposted "Tarana" and runs south from the highway near "Karoo" Angus-stud. The dam is on Karoo a couple of km from the highway and can be viewed from the road. Penny Drake-Brockman and I saw 3 males and 3 females on Friday morning 31/8/2001 at about 9 am. Clive Meadows reported seeing Blue-billed Ducks on this dam several years ago.
