Hello all, Thanks to all for the many responses to my request for ID opinions for the plover sighted at Bribie Island 29/8/01. There seems to be no doubt it was a Red-capped Plover. I will acknowledge all e-mails with appropriate responses to points raised as soon as possible. I also have some comments to make about this identification and perhaps waders in general which I will post on this forum as soon as possible. Thanks again, Bob Inglis Woody Point South East Queensland, Australia.
