Hi everyone, A trip around the Hawkesbury wetlands yesterday produced small groups of Sharp-tailed sandpipers at all of the wetlands except McGraths Hill where 4or 5 Spotted Crakes were present. There were also 2 Spotted crakes at Pitt Town feeding in the open. Jap snipe seem to be thinner on the ground, only seen 2 at Broadwater wetland so far this year. Glossy Ibis are still at Pitt Town, and there are more Red-kneed Dottrel's around than usual. keith Tracking #: BA47324F4D60E94B852473C4E2992EEFF697EADB Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
