A very important meeting entitled "Birds for the Future" - a symposium on
habitat conservation in NSW and the ACT will be held on October 6, 2001 at
Taronga Zoo Sydney.

Guest speakers include many prominent and well known Australian scientists
plus Welsh ornithologist and presenter of the TV series "Birdman" Iolo
Williams.

Bird club members receive a significant discount. This is a major event for
the birding community and is not to be missed.

Details of the meeting can be found at www.cboc.org.au/symposium.html . To
register your interest and receive a registration form send your name and
address to

The symposium is presented by BIGnet and is a Birds Australia Centenary
Event.
