Hi all,
Sorry to be a little off topic.
In october we will be visiting Australia for a (birding) vacation. During
preparation I came to realise that hiring a car is rather complex, with a
lot of regulations and alternatives, especially concerning insurance. I'm
really not planning to crash into a Kangaroo or Kookaburra, but car-renting
companies appear to think different.
We will try to hire a car in Darwin (airport?) and Cairns. Does any of you
have some tips, hints or useful experience on renting a car in these places?
thanks
