Hello Everyone;
The Birding the Americas Trip Report Repository is finally (for the most
part) back on line. All the Trip Reports for Canada, Central America, the
Caribbean, and South America have been reformatted and restored, and Mexico
is largely available as well. The U.S. section (last, but not least) is
still off-line, and will be gradually restored through mid-September.
The URL for the site is:
http://www.birdingtheamericas.com
An Advisory: the Central and South American trip reports are now stored on
a "Free" Site that puts Pop-Up Window advertising on your browser when you
enter. To disable this feature, switch off Java Script on your Internet
browser. This won't affect your visit to the Birding the Americas site,
as it is entirely "Java-free," although some of the off-site links may lead
to web pages that use Java. In addition, the "Free" site can be slow at
times, and some of the reports stored on it are long, so please be patient
during downloading.
Understandably, having to rebuild my site from scratch has taken away time
I might have used to put up new reports. I will add new ones through the
autumn, but your patience is requested in the meantime.
Good birding, and safe travels.
