I have noticed that various of the planted groups of ironbarks in Canberra seem to be in flower at the moment. I checked out those at the U of Canberra campus yesterday for Regent Honeyeaters but drew a blank. However other Canberra birdwatchers might care to check these UC ironbarks out (RHs have been seen here in previous years in August when the ironbarks flower), and other groups of flowering ironbarks. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% John Leonard (Dr) PO Box 243, Woden, ACT 2606, Australia %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
