Hi Steve, Glad to hear the bustard survived the night. Where will the folks at Serendip release it when it recovers? Re your post of last weekend about goats at Mt Napier. Have you thought about contacting one of the local field & game clubs. I'm sure they would be only too happy to shoot the goats with DNR approval. I think the Coleraine Field and Game club were allowed into the Hamilton Parklands about ten years ago to clean out the fox/feral cat population to aid the bandicoot programme.
