John is right that this virus (SirCam) is vicious. According to my anti-virus provider - VET -it was intended to DELETE ALL FILES on your hard drive. But INFECTED E-MAILS MAY APPEAR TO COME FROM ANYONE not just the treated pine people mentioned by John. I have had versions from an individual, an estate agent... and understand one of our major banks passed it on. So more than ever: DON'T OPEN ATTACHMENTS TO SUSPECT E-MAILS GET ANTI-VIRUS PROTECTION AND UPDATE IT OFTEN Michael Norris Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
