Hi Birding-Ausers

I am coming to Australia next month and I am hoping to explore areas north of Adelaide up the Strzelecki Track and then possibly north to Alice Springs if time allows. The timing of this is approximately 15-23 August.

My purpose in contacting Birding-Aus is to see if there are other birders planning to travel that route at that time that I could possibly join up with (I plan to have my own 4WD), or indeed whether there is anyone interested in joining me.

My targets include Grey Falcon, Bourke's Parrot, Rufous-crowned Emu-wren, Eyrean Grasswren, Grey Grasswren, Thick-billed Grasswren, Dusky Grasswren, Shy Hylacola, Redthroat, Slaty-backed Thornbill, Chestnut-breasted Whiteface, Banded Whiteface, Grey Honeyeater, Black Honeyeater, Pied Honeyeater and Gibber Chat.

Please reply to me privately on

Many thanks, and regards to all those who have been so helpful on previous trips.

Regards

Keith Betton
(London, UK)
