Thanks for the reminder re honey-eaters, Bob.
Darters have been breeding for at least the past 5 years on "our" lagoon
(We have always called it Scotts Lagoon but in recent years others have
named it Wombat Rest, after the shack area adjacent to its river
opening.) At almost any time except mid-winter there is at least one and
sometimes 3-4 nests in use so, if you count young birds, its quite easy
to reach a total of over a dozen.

PS I've been hearing the Redthroat on Fiddlers Green lately but haven't
spotted one yet. But they ARE here!
