Hi Tony and other birding-aussers,
Yes, I can confirm that email messages have been unable to get through to us
since 15:30 yesterday afternoon EST (Tues., 17/7/01). Apparently this was
due to either (a) a huge log file of over 1 GB clogging our server, or (b)
corrupted modem settings. There were also intermittent 'outages' yesterday
while our ISP istalled upgraded software. The problem(s) was/were fixed up
at about 15:00 today (or so our ISP assures us).
So for the moment our email is operating fine.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and ask that any 'bounced' emails
should be re-sent.
Cheerio.
Peter.
