Hello We woke this morning with the pleasing sound of a Pallid Cuckoo calling loudly near the house. This is our earliest observation of Pallid?s calling around here, since 1980. On Saturday, Almond trees were noticed flowering so it looks like an early Spring has sprung at Penfield, 30 km. north of Adelaide.
