THE SWIFT PARROT AND REGENT HONEYEATER
RECOVERY TEAMS
Invite you and all your bird watching friends to come along to a
SWIFT PARROT & REGENT HONEYEATER WORKSHOP

SATURDAY 21ST JULY 2001 - CANBERRA and
SATURDAY 28TH JULY 2001 – CENTRAL COAST

The Workshop will include:
·        Training on identification of Swift Parrots and Regent Honeyeaters and their habitats
·        Report back on results of last year's surveys & recovery activities
·        How crucial volunteers are to the recovery process
·        Illustrated talk by Recovery Team members, Debbie Saunders (Swift Parrot) & David Geering (Regent Honeyeater), who study the ecology of these birds and coordinate the surveys
·        Training on field data recording including the use of GPS/map reading

We'll provide you with a workshop folder as well as a light lunch & morning/afternoon tea.  All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and binoculars!
